GRP (Fibreglass) Cowl Replacement

The average cost of a new GRP cowl, exclusive to us, is £5,000, with an estimated completion time of two days. This old GRP cowl had deteriorated to the point where it needed replacement. We supply and install new state-of-the-art GRP cowls that are indistinguishable from timber cowls. The old cowl is simply removed onto a scaffold, the roundel roof can then be adjusted to fit the new cowl, and the new one is carefully lifted into position.

GRP COWLS CANNOT BE RESTORED TO THEIR FORMER GLORY BECAUSE SANDING DOWN AND APPLYING A FLOW COAT TO OLD FIBREGLASS IS EQUIVALENT TO PAINTING, AND IT WILL PEEL OFF JUST AS PAINT DOES.
